I was not supposed to be here - not like this.
The world told me I was worthless, that I was gutter trash. My lineage was convict blood. My childhood was instability, moving between families, learning the rules of survival instead of the rituals of culture. I grew up without birthdays, without celebrations, without being seen.

Everything I had was second-hand. Everything I built was hard-earned. And yet, in every fragment of rejection, I found resilience. I became the helper, the watcher, the one who adapted. I learned to turn silence into creativity, wounds into wisdom.

I was never handed culture. So I chose to create one.

Awæcnian: The First Awakening

When the call came to open a school, my heart recognised it as destiny. That was the beginning of Awæcnian Academy - a space for awakening, for teaching emotional intelligence, creativity, and connection in ways the system never did.

Awæcnian cracked me open to language, duality, and meaning. It taught me how to lead, how to collaborate, how to fail, and how to rise again. And when it closed, it did not end. It echoed forward. It became the foundation for what I was truly here to build.

The Becoming of SomaEcho

SomaEcho is the culmination of everything I have lived, studied, and created. It is not a brand. It is not a business. It is a living echo.

It is a framework that can hold grief, trauma, and survival - and transmute them into creativity, leadership, and belonging. It is a living archive of human stories, a collective memory where nobody is invisible.

Through SomaEcho, I weave together all I am:
   •    A mother, mentor, and soon-to-be grandmother.
   •    A trauma-informed coach and NLP practitioner.
   •    A teacher, artist, and community leader.
   •    A woman who has worked every job from cleaner to designer to Bobcat operator.
   •    An all-round creative who finds healing in every medium: paint, fabric, clay, macramé, resin, design.
   •    A guide who has walked through summits, therapies, activations, and sacred work with wisdom keepers, turning every lesson into living practice.

Every fragment, every scar, every skill has prepared me to hold this echo.

We live in a world obsessed with separation. Identity, race, gender, class, economics - we are divided at every turn. But I believe humanity is ready to choose differently.

SomaEcho is my offering to that choice. It is a vessel for creating a culture that belongs to everyone - not a melting pot that erases difference, but a living library that honours the best of every heritage and welcomes those who inherited none.

This is more than work. This is legacy.
It is the echo of my life, carried forward into something bigger than me.
